After the cleaning is completed and there is no need for the next cleaning operation in a short period of time, the cleaning rod should be covered with a dust cap to avoid contamination.
2. Under normal use, the cleaning rod can clean about 50 fiber end faces. The cleaning effect will decrease after the number of times of use is exceeded, and it should be replaced in time. When the fiber end face is seriously polluted, the number of times the cleaning rod can be used will also be reduced.
3. When the cleaning rod is inserted into the drive shaft, it should be inserted tightly and the flat parts of the two should be firmly engaged, otherwise it will cause sliding during use.
4. The cleaning time of the cleaner is 3 to 5 seconds. You can adjust the cleaning time and the force of tightening the end face according to the actual usage.
5. If the effect of the end face of the optical fiber is not satisfactory, it is necessary to distinguish whether there is loss or stubborn stains on the end face. If it is a stubborn stain, it is recommended to use a combination of detergent and cleaner to achieve the ideal cleaning effect.
6. After the cleaning is completed, it is recommended to use the fiber optic microscope to check the cleaning effect.
